If you are looking for inspiration, there is no better resource than to go within.
One of the easiest ways to do this is through the daily discipline of Meditation, which is achieved easily by focusing on your equalised breathing.
As you are mindful of your breathing, you can distract your thoughts from their constant “noise”. Rather than exerting your willpower to push the chattering away, acknowledge and accept that the brain loves to think, and know that eventually, with practice, you will be able to train your brain to keep returning your awareness to the breath cycle.
Meditation Calms the Mind
Meditation requires a minimum of 20 minutes per day to be effective in keeping a calm body and mind. It is a powerful way to reduce stress and centre yourself so that you can function well throughout the day. It is especially effective when it is done in the morning as you set up your day ahead.
Finding a quiet space and time enables you to have confidence in your soul’s journey as the challenges of life occur. As you check in with your personal values you can implement change with the dynamic world according to your beliefs.
Observing your thoughts and feelings rather than trying to control the world eliminates stress and makes you more relaxing to be around.
Get Inspired!
The best approach for inspiring others is to simply be your authentic self.
Having a strong healthy sense of self reassures others of who you are within your community. If you are someone who is kind and compassionate, for example, but has firm personal boundaries, others will respect and be inspired by your ways. They will know that you can be relied upon when needed, but they won’t take advantage of your good nature.
When you listen to your heart’s desires through the meditation process, your needs are often simple and powerful.
Knowing that the heart has as many, if not more, neurons than the brain, it is probably good advice to follow your heart and see where it leads you!
The best way to inspire someone else is by “being” and “doing” as part of your natural personality. Refrain from telling others what to do, unless, of course, they are in immediate mortal danger. If you exemplify your successes without bragging, others will be inspired by simply being in your life.
Here is a great piece of wisdom from the late Dr Wayne W Dyer:
“Be miserable. Or motivate yourself. Whatever has to be done, it’s always your choice.”
