Stress Relief in 3 Simple Steps

3 SIMPLE STEPS to STRESS RELIEF

Every day we deal with an overwhelming number of situations because we are so busy juggling our personal, family and career lives. With so much demand on our time, it’s impossible to not get stressed. Our modern lifestyles can feel like a frantic race from one situation to the next, all day long, as we make sure that everyone who relies on us has their needs met. It doesn’t leave much personal down-time to relax and recover. We fall into bed at night exhausted and wake in the morning to start the cycle all over again. We can feel like we are on a very distressing merry-go-round.

“I am sick with STRESS…… what can I do?”

Stress impacts on our immune system and is the Number One creator of illness. Additionally, if we have suffered from trauma, such as grief, we can become crushed by anxiety or impacted with panic attacks, headaches or any number of symptoms that prevent us from being ourselves. Stress can affect any one of the systems by weakening the delicate balance that the various organs, endocrines and body parts play.

“I don’t have time to feel like this …..

I just want to be better!”

Depression and anxiety have become household words that create massive profits for the medical and pharmacology industries. When our energy levels are so low that we don’t want to get out of bed in the morning, we wonder what the point of this crazy life is…..

“This doesn’t feel like living… “

Anti-depressants are prescribed by doctors to alleviate the immediate problems we are experiencing, but they don’t deal with the underlying reason that we got so out of control in the first place.

And not everyone can stomach the cocktail of chemicals or the long term dependence that usually follows once you start the prescribed medication. Now, I am not saying you shouldn’t see your doctor (I will never say that), but what if there is something else that you can do for yourself that helps to relieve the stress?
